The first annual indoor track games of the South Boston Athletic Association will be held in Mechanics Hall, Boston, this evening at 7.30 o'clock. The schedule consists of six regular events, three special events, nine relay races, and open amateur wrestling. A total of 350 entries have been received from colleges, schools, clubs, and individual athletes.
The special events will be a half-mile run open only to Harvard men, a matched 600-yard run in which Melvin Sheppard, the Olympic champion, 'will compete, 390-yard relay race between the University team and the Boston Athletic Association team.
A total of 78 men have been entered by the University track management in five of the regular events, the relay race, and the half-mile run. Other colleges which have sent entries are: Dartmouth, Tufts, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Boston College.
A number of seats in a special section near the finish line have been reserved for Harvard men, and may be obtained at Leavitt & Peirce's up till 11 o'clock this morning, the price being $1.
