Supervision of Medical Adviser

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

On account of the general lack of knowledge of the advantages of the Medical Adviser's office throughout the University, the College Office wishes to make the following announcement:

Students confined to their rooms by illness should word to Thayer 21 before 9.30 A. M. if possible. Later cases may be reported at 1569 Massachusetts avenue. If no physician is already in attendance, visits will be made as soon thereafter as possible. The nature of the illness and degree of urgency should be stated.

Students able to go out are expected to go to the Medical Adviser's office, Thayer 21, during the following consultation hours: 8.30 to 9.30 A. M. daily; 5 to 6 P. M. except Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Emergency cases will reach the Adviser at 1569 Massachusetts avenue at other hours than above.

It should be remembered that chills, fever, abdominal and other pains require attention. The earlier the detection of contagious or other serious illness, the greater is the safety to the individual and his friends. Any rash or eruption should be immediately reported. This supervision is for the benefit and protection of the student community.
