Memorial Address by Major Harrod

Major Benjamin M. Harrod '56 of New Orleans, l.a., a soldier of the Confederate army, has accepted the invitation extended by President Lowell to make the Memorial Day address in Sanders Theatre next May. Major Harrod was a member of the Mississippi River Commission from 1879 to 1904 when he was appointed to the Isthmian Canal Commission. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and was president in 1897.
