In the Freshman trial contests held on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon P. R. Withington won the 880-yard run with L. H. Chenoweth and S. h. Bowles second and third respectively, R. H. Rowse finished first in the mile run, A. M. Rodgers second, and O. W. Hausseremann third. No times were given out.
