Professor Eugen Kuehnemann has written a book giving an account of President Eliot's life work as head of the University. The work also contains a study of the President's educational and social philosophy, his life, public activities, and his personality. It will be published May 15 under the title, "Charles W. Eliot, President of Harvard University, May 19, 1869-May 19, 1909."
Professor Kuehnemann is the first to undertake to put into book form a study of President Eliot's influence on American education.
