The golf matches for the championship of the University and the consolation medals, played yesterday at the Oakley Country Club, resulted as follows: championship--A. H. Shaw, 1G. defeated H. H. Wilder '09, 1 up; S. W. Sargent '11 defeated P. M. Smith '11, 5 up and 4 to play; consolation--H. C. Clark '11 defeated A. M. Crosby '11, 3 up and 2 to play: T. A. E. Harris '11 defeated W. F. Morgan '10, 4 up and 3 to play.

The finals for the championship will be played between Shaw and Sargent this afternoon. The finals in the consolation match will be played between Clark and Harris on Tuesday afternoon.
