Besides entering the Stewards' Challenge Cup race for first eight-oared shells in the American Henley Regatta at Philadelphia tomorrow, the second University crew will also enter the New England Challenge Cup race for junior collegiate eights, in which it will meet the Cornell junior university crew and the Pennsylvania second university crew. The Cornell crew is mostly composed of sophomores, and will be practically the same eight which will race the University crew on May 31.
Owing to the fact that the rules governing the race for junior eights prohibit any man who has rowed in a four-mile intercollegiate race from taking part, R. Ellis '09 will replace Severance at No. 5 in this second race.
