At a meeting of the Corporation on April 19, it was voted "to authorize the publication of an address list of former students of the University." The work of publishing this volume, to be called "The Harvard Alumni Directory," will be conducted by the Harvard Alumni Association. For the last four years one or more clerks have been working on the address list. The Alumni Directory will seek to give the names, addresses, and occupations, of all men now alive who have been students in any department of the University long enough to have their names included in a catalog.
