Scrub Basketball Begins Today

The first round of the scrub basketball series will begin today in the Hemenway Gymnasium. Fourteen teams have been entered and will play as nearly as possible according to the following schedule: Today--at 3.30, Basket Bawlers vs. Dead Beats; at 8.30, Four Flushers vs. Subways. Tomorrow--at 3.30. Little Cherubs vs. Floor Walkers; at 8.30, Waltz Dreams vs. Sam Walters. Thursday--at 3.30, Green Peas vs. No Names; at 8.00, Two-Steppers vs. Bromos. Friday--at 3.30, Nell Brinkley Girls vs. Hard Hitters. Men not assigned to any team report to A. L. Thayer sL., who has been appointed captain, to play under the name of Floor Walkers.
