At the first trials for the Freshman Glee Club held last evening in Holden Chapel, the following 36 men were retained for the final trials in the latter part of March: first tenors--I. C. Bolton, H. S. Hegarty; second tenors--D. B. Adams, F. L. Allen, R. S. Barker, N. C. Bolton, R. Clifford, C. H. Holt, H. F. Isham, N. R. Sturgis, R. B. Wigglesworht; first basses--R. t, Alger, C. M. Amory, R. Douglas, G. D. Edwards, H. L. Groves, M. S. Hallowell, J. Heard, G. C. Henderson, P. K. Houston, S. Mixter, L. D. Redway, R. Stiles, J. C. Trumbull, A. C. Yarnall; second bases--N. H. Broch, F. S. Ernst, E. P. Felker, R. S. Gross, J. Hoar, C. Howell, F. H. Leslie, O. W. Roosevelt, E. C. Sprague, W. C. Woodward. E. P. Pierce, Jr., '12 has been appointed leader of the club.
The rehearsals will be held regularly from now on, and from the results of the work in rehearsals and in the trails next month the final selection will be made. The first concert will probably be held early in April
