"The Nigger," the new play by E.B. Sheldon '08, will be performed for the first time this evening at 8.15 in the New Theatre in New York. Good authorities claim that this play, which is a serious drama, far outclasses Mr. Sheldon's first effort, "Salvation Nell." It will be the first American play of its kind to be performed at the New Theatre. The play will be given three times next week, on Monday and Thursday evenings at 8. and on Saturday afternoon at 2.15 o'clock.
