Upper-Class Debating Club Formed

The Harvard Debating Club was organized last evening, for the purpose of stimulating interest in informal discussion of current events and informal debating, and of giving an opportunity for University expression. The following officers were elected: president, T. M. Gregory '10; vice-president, J. S. Reed '10; treasurer, M. E. Peabody '11; secretary, A. D. Brigham '12. The Committees appointed were: executive committee, the officers and G. L. Harding '10, C. B. Randall '12, R. H. Smith '10; committee on membership, the officers and T. T. Scudder '11.

The club will meet twice during the month to complete the organization. After the recess the meetings, which will be fortnightly, will be open to members of the University. Those desiring to be elected members should send their names to A. D. Brigham '12, Thayer 52, or T. T. Scudder '11, Apthorp 1.
