Novice Gymnastic Meet at 8

The fifth annual novice gymnastic meet will be held in the Hemenway Gymnasium this evening at 8 o'clock. A cup has been offered by Dr. D. A. Sargent director of the Gymnasium, for the all-round championship of the meet, and prizes will be awarded the winners of first and second places in each event. The judges will be C. L. Schrader, instructor in gymnastics, G. F. Evans 3G., and E. L. Souder '10, captain of the University team.

For several weeks the contestants have been coached by Mr. Schrader and Evans in preparation for the meet. Men from the upper classes showing promise will be take on the University gymnastic squad.
