DORMITORY RACE TODAY

Final Contest Between 5 Crews for Filley Cup to be Rowed at 3.30.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The deciding race between the dormitory crews for the Filley Cup will be rowed down-stream this afternoon at 3.30 o'clock. The course starts at the Cottage Farm bridge and finishes opposite the site of the old Boston Athletic Association boathouse, a quarter of a mile below the Harvard bridge. Buoys will be situated at the start and finish to do away with the confusion and to enable the judges to decide the race definitely. It is almost impossible to predict the winner for this afternoon, as in Tuesday's race, not one of the five eights was able to gain a length. This final race is between Claverly, Mt. Auburn street, Randolph, Russell, and Thayer, as Dunster-Dana-Drayton, the sixth crew to qualify cannot row. All men should report at their boathouses, dressed to row, at 3 o'clock as any crew that is not on the line at 3.30 will not be allowed to race.
