The novice cups offered by the Rifle and Pistol Club were won by J. J. Hayes '11, for the best rifle score and by E. P. Lipscomb 1L., for the best revolver score. From now until the Easter recess the club will have regular rifle practice on Mondays and revolver practice on Fridays in the baseball cage at 7.30 o'clock. A medal will be awarded at the end of every mouth to the man making the highest 5 out of 8 scores of 100 each. After Christmas there will be two scratch championship shoots, one, with the rifle and one with the revolver, in both of which the winners will receive cups. In the spring after the indoor work stops such men as wish to, go out to Wakefield for further practice at the ranges. Any men in the University who are interested in this work are invited to go to the baseball cage on the days mentioned.
