New Haven, Conn., October 19, 1909.--The work of the university team was very encouraging today, as four touchdowns and a field goal were scored against the second. Coy was in the scrimmage part of the time and made two successful forward passes, each resulting in a touchdown. Vaughan, Francis, Howe and Coy each made one touchdown and Coy kicked the field goal from the 20-yard line. The first team lined up as follows: l.e., Vaughan; l.t., Roberts; l.g., Brown; c., Cooney; r.g., Goebel; r.t., Lilley, Morris; r.e., Brooks; q.b., Howe; l.h.b., Daly; r.h.b., Francis; f.b., Field, Evans, Coy.
