UNIVERSITY RECEPTION

In Union at 9.30.--Pres. and Mrs. Eliot Will Receive.--Dancing.

The annual University Reception will be held in the Union this evening at 9.30 o'clock. President and Mrs. Eliot will be the guests of honor. Invitations were sent to members of the faculties, governing boards, visiting committees, and officers of administration of Harvard and Radcliffe.

Instead of the patronesses, as in former years, President and Mrs. Eliot will receive in the Living Room from 9.45 to 10.30 o'clock; supper will be served in the Dining Room from 10.30 to 11.30 o'clock. There will be dancing in the Periodical Room from 10 o'clock till midnight. The main entrance to the Union will be closed and admittance to the reception will be by the east door.

Arrangements are in charge of the Board of Managers of University Receptions of which the officers are: chairman, Professor C. H. Moore '89; secretary, Professor G. H. Chase '96; treasurer, Dr. A. M. Tozzer '00. The executive committee is composed of the above officers and Mr. W. S. Burke, Mr. W. C. Heilman '00, Professor F. L. Kennedy '92, and Professor A. E. Kennelly.
