Socialist Lecture in Emerson F at 8

Mr. Franklin H. Wentworth will speak under the auspices of the Socialist Club on "Socialism and Liberty" in Emerson F this evening at 8 o'clock. The lecture will be open to the public.

Mr. Wentworth has spent much time in travelling and in studying social and economic conditions. He was assistant secretary and correspondent of the Underwriters' Laboratories in Chicago from 1895 to 1900. For the following three years he was editor and publisher of "The Socialist Spirit," after which he became Washington correspondent for the Socialist press, a position which he held until 1905. Mr. Wentworth is the author of "The Pride of Intellect."
