The eighteenth annual tournament for the Harvard interscholastic tennis championship in singles will begin on Jarvis Field at 9 o'clock this morning, and will continue through Monday. In case of rain today, however, the tournament will begin on Monday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock.
Prizes will be given to the winner and the runner-up. The winner will also have the right, as Harvard interscholastic champion, to play at Newport in August for the national interscholastic championship. A championship shield will be presented to the school winning the greatest number of points, each match won counting one point. Twenty-four entries have been made from six schools.
