FOOTBALL WITH COLUMBIA

First Association League Game in New York This Afternoon at 3 o'clock.

The University association football team will play its first league game of the season with Columbia on South Field, New York, this afternoon at 3 o'clock. The sudden changes in the line-up on account of the rule forbidding men to participate in athletic contests in more than two seasons, materially lesson the chances of the University team. Columbia has, moreover, a stronger team than last year and has already defeated Cornell 9 to 0, and Yale 5 to 0.

The team will spend tonight in New York, at the Murray Hill Hotel, and leave tomorrow for Haverford, where they will play in the afternoon.

The line-up will be: HARVARD.  COLUMBIA. Waters, g.  g., Tallant Munroe, r.f.b.  l.f.b., G. Dwyer Pell, l.f.b.  r.f.b., Voskamp Grant, r.h.b.  l.h.b., Kistler Brooks, c.h.b.  c.h.b., Ferguson McQuade, l.h.b.  r.h.b., Hartung F. R. Leland, r.o.f.  l.o.f., O'Brien D. V. Leland, r.i.f.  l.i.f., C. E. Dwyer Suckley, cf.  c.f., Diaz Chadwick, l.i.f.  r.i.f., Smith Gardiner, l.o.f.  r.o.f., Billingsley
