The second concert in Mr. Arthur Whiting's series of Expositions of Chamber Music will be given on Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock, in the Lecture Room of the Fogg Museum. It will be open only to officers and students of the University. There will be no charge for admission. The following program will be rendered by Mr. Whiting on the harpsichord and the pianoforte.
HARPSICHORD.
D. Scarlatti.--Sonata, A major.--Siciliana, F major.--Tempo di ballo.
Handel.--Sarabande, Gigue, G minor.
Mozart.--Sonata, F major (ed. Peters, No. 6).
PIANOFORTE.
Beethoven.--Sonata, D minor, op. 31.
Mendelssohn.--Song without words. A major, No. 47.
Chopin.--Etude, C-sharp minor, op. 25. No. 7.--Ballade, A-flat major.
The succeeding concerts in the series will be given on the following Tuesday evenings: December 15, January 19, February 9, March 9, and April 6.
