FACULTY RECEPTION TONIGHT

Dean Briggs Will Preside.--President Eliot to Speak in Union at 8.

The annual reception given by the Faculty to new students will be held in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 8 o'clock. Dean Briggs will preside, and President Eliot will officially welcome the class of 1912 to the University. The meeting will be addressed also by Professor G. H. Palmer '64, Professor A. Lawrence Lowell '77, and L. K. Lunt '09.

Although the reception is intended primarily for Freshmen and other men who are at Harvard for the first time, all members of the University are cordially invited to attend.
