No scrimmage was held yesterday in the football practice on Soldiers Field. The men, however, were given a short drill in getting started quickly, and were lined up by L. H. Leary '03 and coached in getting away as soon as the ball was snapped. Then followed more limbering up work, which consisted of picking up the ball on the run, and passing. Four separate elevens were formed, as was done Wednesday, and these were given forty minutes' practice in signals and forward passes.
