Crimson Outclassed All Rivals !

As predicted in yesterday's CRIMSON, the I. P. A. A. A.'s third annual meet, held in the Steady Yum yesterday afternoon, was one by the University daily the other papers making only a weakly showing. The score as given out by the official keeper was as follows: CRIMSON, 2 1-4 lemons; Monthly, 13 lemons; Advocate, 57 lemons; Lampoon, a whole Florida lemon ranch.

Yesterday proved to be a rare day, the weather being raw, as was the meat, which, nevertheless, was well done. A strong breeze blew down the stretch, which was straightaway righted, and the Monthly was then requested to cease blowing up the Young Instructor.

The CRIMSON gained first place in all the events. This was hardly to be expected as the binders, i.e., bookmakers, felt sure that Lampy's force had several events pinched. However, in the standing broad grin, a Lampoon editor cracked a smile and lost the contest. The flying hyphen was nearly won by Miss Prints '10, of the Radcliffe Ruffian, who out of courtesy, was invited to enter. The officials won the keg-emptying contest in a walk and a short walk at that. Great credit is due the business management of the CRIMSON for supplying the daily's representatives with Frog's Verifine Hops before the hurdle holocaust. The pole-vault was omitted because an Advocate editor lost the key to the vault. The 100-yard dash was one by a splendid burst of profanity. The first heat of the 220-yard dash was very hot, but the leading man got cold feet, and the heat, dying, was declared a dead one. The axe-sharpening contest was one by A. Hard Grynde '07.

The fastest hens in the University Incubator competed in the Re-Lay race. The only place obtained by the Monthly was won by Flagstaff in this event.
