Geological Excursion in Recess

The Department of Mineralogy will conduct an excursion from Monday to Thursday in the Easter recess. Mr. R. W. Richards, assistant in the department, will be in charge, and the party will start from Boston on Monday, April 15, at 5 o'clock in the afternoon by way of the Bangor division of the Eastern Steamship Company. The trip will be divided into two parts. In the first of these parts contact phenomena will be studied at Cambden, Rockland, Rockport, Thomaston and Warren, while the second division will be devoted to the study of pegmatites at Brunswick and Topsan. From here the party will take train for Portland and return to Boston by boat on Thursday. The trip will be open to all members of the department of Geology.
