The eleventh annual series of Hyde lectures will begin this year on Wednesday, February 5, and will be given by M. Andre Tardien, honorary first secretary of embassy of France and chief of the political bureau of the Paris Temps. The general subject of the series will be "La France et les Alliances," and the lectures will be a discussion of the foreign relations of France. Eight lectures will comprise the series, and they will be given at 4 o'clock on the afternoons of the following dates: February 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, and 21, in Sanders Theatre. As in former years, the lectures will be open to the public.
