Committee Waits for Estimates on Memorial Clock

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The committee of the Senior class, appointed for the purpose of making arrangements for a memorial to commemorate the three hundredth anniversary of John Harvard, submitted, at the last meeting of the Corporation, a proposal for a John Harvard clock, to be subscribed for by all members of the University, and to be located on the front of University Hall, facing the Johnston Gate. The Corporation has declined to take action on the matter, until complete plans and estimates have been received from the designers, McKim, Meade and White. This will not be until after the Christmas recess.
