New Haven, Conn., Nov. 1, 1907.--The university team held a long signal practice today in preparation for tomorrow's game with Washington and Jefferson. Following this there was a spirited fifteen minute scrimmage with the college eleven, in which, the university team scored twice. The first touchdown was made after three minutes of play. Toward the close of the scrimmage, Foster received the ball on an onside kick, on the 40-yard line, and carried it over for the second score.
Coy, Cooney, and Burch were the only men who did not take part in the practice.
