Freshman Play Worcester Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman football team will play the fifth game of its season this afternoon at Worcester, Mass., with Worcester Academy.

Last year the Freshmen were defeated in this game 14 to 6, but it seems likely that a closer game will result this year.

Though it is true that Worcester defeated Cushing Academy last Saturday 32 to 4, and that the Freshmen were beaten, 5 to 0, by Brown 1911, yet a week before that the Freshmen tied Exeter, and Andover defeated Worcester 12 to 0.

There will be some changes in the Freshman line-up. McKay, who has just recovered from a bad leg, is to play right tackle in place of Oveson, while the latter will play part of the game in Captain Harding's place, as he is not in the best of condition. Peabody, who has hitherto been substitute full back, will start the game at left halfback, Pope being shifted to right half. The line-up: Corbett, l.e.  r.e., Soule. Harding, Oveson, l.t.  r.t., Bartlett. Dunlap, l.g.  r.g., Kelly. Smith, c.  c., Sinclair. Blodgett, r.g.  l.g., Whity. McKay, r.t.  l.t., Hanlon. Crowley, r.e.  l.e., Hutchins. Davis, Johnson, q.b.  q.b., Greenwood. Peabody, l.h.b.  r.h.b., Putnam. Pope, r.h.b.  l.h.b., Campbell. Cutler, f.b.  f.b., Cortrell.
