The Department of Classics has arranged a series of six lectures, to be given by Mr. G. G. A. Murray, a well-known English author and dramatist, during the latter part of April and the early part of May. These lectures will probably be given in the Lecture Room of the Fogg Museum, and will be open to the public. They will deal with the history of traditional poetry in Greece, beginning with the earliest Greek poetry and extending to the period of tragedy and comedy.
