The University basketball team will play Princeton in the Gymasium at 4 o'clock this afternoon in its second game of the intercollegiate league series. Princeton has already played four league games, losing two games to Pennsylvania by scores of 1 8 to 24, and 15 to 33, and two to Columbia by scores of 14 to 22 and 15 to 18. Last Saturday, however, Princeton played a fast game against West Point and won in an exceedingly close contest by a score of 29 to 27. In defense the Princeton team is considerably weaker than Harvard.
In team play, in passing, and in covering, the University team has shown consistent improvement during the past week, but it is severely handicapped by the inability of the forwards to take advantage of opportunities to score.
Admission to the game this afternoon will be 50 cents.
