Two more changes were made yesterday in the order of the second University crew, which experienced several shifts last Saturday. Gill who had been out of the boat since Thursday resumed his place at number 3 instead of Ball, and later in the afternoon Corbett succeeded Lowell at 5.
Yesterday the second crew as a whole rowed in better form than on Saturday. Morgan at stroke was especially steady and Richards seemed to have become used to his position at 2. In the first crew Blagden resumed his place at coxswain for the first time since the April recess.
