The Freshman baseball team defeated the Noble and Greenough School yesterday afternoon by the score of 10 to 9. Nash, for the Freshmen, pitched an erratic game, giving seven bases on balls and allowing hits at critical moments. The Freshmen had a slump in batting and their fielding was slow. They showed improvement, however, in base-running. The feature of the game was Briggs' home run in the eighth inning.

The outcome of the game was uncertain until the eighth inning, when the Freshmen netted four runs on an error, a sacrifice and two hits-one, a home run. Noble's fielded very poorly, making 11 errors.
