The annual conference of teachers of modern languages at secondary schools will begin at Dartmouth College. Hanover, N. H., this morning and will continue until Saturday afternoon. The purpose of the conference is to bring together teachers of the modern languages at New England preparatory schools for mutual discussion and help.
The principal address at today's session will be delivered by Professor H. S. White '73, who will speak on "The Deciplinary and Cultural Value of the Modern Languages."
Tomorrow evening Professor F. C. de Sumichrast will give an illustrated lecture on "Versailles; The Palace of the Great King." On Saturday morning, he will lecture on "The Alliance Francaise", of which he is the president in Boston.
