Yesterday the Cornell crew went over the regular 1 and 7-8 miles course both in the morning and afternoon. In the morning the work was somewhat harder than it was in the afternoon, as a 33 stroke was rowed in a spurt at the finish. In the afternoon 26 strokes to the minute were maintained as a steady pace. The men appeared to be in good physical condition, but did not row hard. They were well together and the boat spaced from eight to ten feet at times.
