ITHACA, N. Y., May 22.--The University eight and substitutes left here for Cambridge this afternoon at 6.18 o'clock, accompanied by Coach Courtney. Manager Wise and John Hoyt. They will arrive in Boston at 8.47 o'clock tomorrow morning.
This morning Coach Courtney took the eight out for hard practice, developing good speed in trials and perfecting the starting. All the men were in excellent form and health. Since the return of stroke E. T. Foote '06 all has gone well.
