The annual single scull race for the Carroll perpetual challenge cup will be rowed down stream on Friday at 1.30 o'clock before the University crew race with Cornell over a one-mile course from above the Harvard bridge to the Union Boat Club. The winner will retain possession of the cup for one year and his name will be inscribed upon it.

Entries are open free of charge to any member of the Newell or Weld boat clubs, and may be made any time before tomorrow noon at the Athletic Association office, at Leavitt & Peirce's or with C. W. Hart, janitor of the University boathouse.
