The Freshman lacrosse team will play its first game of the year with the Polytechnic Preparatory School of Brooklyn, at 1.30 o'clock this afternoon in the Stadium.
The Freshman squad, under the direction of W. L. Stoddard '07, has been holding practice regularly for the last two months, and has developed a very fair team, especially strong on the attack. As this, however, is the Freshmen's first game, the chances favor the visiting team, which has already won four games this year.
The Freshman line-up is as follows: Devereux, i.h.; Smith, o.h.; Viets, 1a.; Cobb, 2a.; Kibbey, 3a.; Morgan, Stevens, c.; Cochrane, 3d.; Arey, Nichols, 2d.; Porter, 1d.; Eisner, c.p.; White, Gillette, p.; Sheip, g.
