Lacrosse Game with Graduate Team

The University lacrosse team will play a practice game with a team composed mostly of graduates at 3.30 o'clock this afternoon on Soldiers Field.

During the past week, the University team has had daily practice, consisting of stickwork, passing the ball, shooting goals, and picking up ground balls. Each day the practice has ended with a line-up and scrimmage. During the week considerable progress has been made and the work is on the whole fairly encouraging.

About 15 men have been reporting daily for Freshman practice. Considering the short time that the squad has practiced, there is every indication that the Freshmen will have a good team this season. A training table will be started at Memorial Hall in a few days.
