Baseball Squad Leaves for South

This afternoon at 1.07 o'clock the University baseball squad will leave the Back Bay Station for New York en route to Richmond, where the first two games of the annual southern trip, which occupies the entire Easter recess, will be played.

The first game of the trip will be played on Saturday with Trinity, N. C., on the grounds of the Richmond League Baseball Club, where regular practice will be held during the stay. On Friday afternoon, April 20, the squad will leave Richmond for Annapolis, where they will play the Naval Academy on Saturday. They will leave for New York that night, returning to Cambridge Sunday.

The following 24 men will be taken: Stephenson, Currier, Carlisle, Wendell, Hartford, Castle, Greene, Slater, Snyder, Nash, Burr, McCarty, McCall, Kemble, Simons, Harvey, Leonard, Pounds, Hellman, Dexter, Coach Coburn, Manager Kelley, Assistant Manager Sugden, and Trainer McMaster. Dr. Nichols will join the squad at Richmond on Sunday.
