Scrub Basketball Entries

Entries for the scrub basketball series which will be started next week close tomorrow at 1 o'clock. Entries should be made before that time in the blue book provided for that purpose at the Gymnasium office. So far eight teams and five extra men have signed. A complete list of all the teams and the schedule of games will be published in Monday's CRIMSON.

The games will be subject to the following rules:

1. All teams must appear on the floor of the Gymnasium ready to play at the time scheduled.

2. Fifteen minute halves shall be played, except in the final game, when 20-minute halves shall be played.

3. Scrub teams must not permit their practice to interfere with that of the University or Freshman teams, or with that of classes or teams using the Gymnasium regularly.

4. Captains shall be elected and shall be held responsible for the prompt appearance of teams. A delay of 10 minutes in starting will forfeit a game.

5. Officials will be appointed and balls furnished by the management.

6. No men on the University, University second, or Freshman squads will be eligible to play.

7. Cups will be awarded to the members of the winning team.

8. No team shall have more than two men who have ever played in any class games.

9. Men may sign singly or in groups of five. In the latter ease a captain shall be designated and the name of the team given.

10. Games shall be played under the collegiate rules.

11. No man may play on more than one team. Each team shall have a substitute, who may play if necessary.

12. Any team playing an ineligible man shall forfeit the contest in which that man was played.
