Baseball Practice Commences Monday

Regular practice for all candidates for the University and Freshman baseball teams will begin in the Cage Monday afternoon. Up to the present, the practice has been in the nature of a preliminary test to determine the value both of the new and the less experienced material. As a result of this test 22 men have been retained to continue with the regular squads.

The University squad will be made up of the Battery and fielding candidates retained from the January practice, all battery and fielding candidates who did not report at that time, and the following Freshmen: T. Briggs, H. McCall, G. N. Clark, F. A. Harding, C. W. Harvey, J. A. Paine, J. W. Simons. Practice for the University fielding squad will be held at 2.15 o'clock; for the Freshmen at 4 o'clock.

Following are the battery squads and their hours of practice; at 1.30-Campbell, Castle, Green, Kelly, Hartford, Lincoln, Moss, Snyder, Taylor, Wendell, at 2--Beebe, Brennan, Bush, Cate, Clark, Carlisle, Currier, Forchheimer, Howe, Nash, Palmer, Slater, Tweed.
