The last of the preliminary games of the scrub basketball series played yesterday afternoon resulted as follows: the Ringers defeated the Slashers, 2 to 0; the Floor Walkers defeated the Putnams, 2 to 0; the Ates defeated the Artists, 11 to 2; the Philanthropists defeated the Medics by default.
This afternoon the following semi-final games will be played: at 6.45, Philanthropists, winners of Section A, vs. Floor Walkers, winners of Section C; at 7, Ringers, winners of Section B, vs. Aerobats, winners of Section D. The winners of the games today will play for the championship on Friday and Saturday and in case of a tie the final game will be played on Monday.
