University, 2; St. Paul's, 2

The University hockey team played a tie game with the St. Paul's School team at Concord yesterday, which resulted in a score of 2 to 2. Although two extra periods of five minutes each were played neither team was able to score the deciding point.

The work of the University team was wretched in every respect. The forwards did not line up as usual, but this change was hardly accountable for the marked lack of team play on the part of the entire team. The University forwards failed to cover their opponents and were exceedingly slow in following back. There was little passing and the shooting of all the men was very crude. As this was the first game in which Willetts has not played at point the defense combination was not as strong as usual. The play of the St. Paul's team was in general finished and effective and its two points were the result of good team play. Macleod shot the first goal for the University team and the second point was made by M. Newhall, one on his passes luckily glancing from Olcott's skate into the net.

The summary: HARVARD.  ST. PAUL'S SCHOOL. Pell, l.e.  r.e., Blair Fraser-Campbell, Edgell, l.c.  r.c., Kirkland Macleod, r.c.  l.c., Morgan M. Newhall, r.e.  l.e., Chantler D. Newhall, c.p.  c.p., Read Sampson, p.  p., Olcott Ivy, g.  g., Robinson

Score--Harvard, 2; St. Paul's School, 2. Goals--Blair, Macleod, Morgan, M. Newhall. Referee--Mr. Gordon. Time--20-minutes halves, and two extra 5-minute periods.
