1909 Basketball Team Defeated

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman basketball team was defeated last night by Melrose High School by the score of 20 to 13. In passing and general form the Freshmen were nearly equal to their opponents, but they were handicapped by unfamiliarity with the floor. The game was characterized by much unnecessarily rought play. In the second half the Freshmen weakened somewhat and were clearly outplayed.
