The annual report of the directors of the Co-operative Society for the fiscal year ending July 31, 1906, was published yesterday and may be obtained by last year's members at the office of the Society's store. The stockholders have declared a dividend of 8 per cent. on the dividend drawing purchases, as against 7 per cent. in 1905-06 and 4 per cent. in 1903-04. The dividend checks will be ready for distribution on November 16.
The volume of business done by the Society during the past year shows an increase of about 5 per cent., or $10,-936.30, and the net profits an increase of $1306.59 over last year. The stationery and tailoring departments have shown the greatest progress, the former showing a gain of $5326.72 and the latter of $10,984.04.

Dana 3L.; from the Senior class, J. Reynolds, Jr.; from the Junior class, H. S. Blair; from the Sophomore class, S. Kelley. Under the provisions of the by-laws any opposing nominations must be signel by 25 members of the Society and the nomination papers delivered to the secretary not later than November 14. The annual meeting of the ticket-holders will be held in Lower Massachusetts, in accordance with the by-laws, on Wednesday, November 21, at 4.30 o'clock
