Captains of Track Squad Chosen

In order to assist the captain and trainers of the University track team in classifying and managing the candidates, the following squad captains have been appointed: 100-yard dash, P. C. Lockwood '07; 220-yard dash, L. P. Dodge '08; 440-yard dash. B. L. Young, Jr., '07; 880-yard run. M. B. Van Brunt '08; mile run, S. T. Hubbard '07; 2-mile run. M. S. Crosby '08; 120-yard hurdles. W. McN. Rand '09: 220-yard hurdles, J. F. Deyle '07; broad-jump, O. F. Rogers '08; highjump. G. E. Roosevelt '09: pole-vault, A. G. Grant '07; shot-put, B. T. Stephenson '08; hammer-throw, H. E. Kersburg '07.

The first event on the new Track and Field Club's schedule will take place tomorrow afternoon. A cross country walk will be held from Fresh Pond to Water town. Any man who wishes to take this walk should report at the Square at 3.35 o'clock, dressed in comfortable walking clothes. From there the squad will proceed to Fresh Pond by car, thence on foot to Watertown. The return trip will be made by trolley.
