The University lacrosse team will play a team of graduates this afternoon at 3.30 o'clock on Soldiers Field. It is expected that the game will be fast with the chances slightly in favor of the graduates, who will include former Captains H. Bennett '04, D. P. Penhallow '03, C. R. Stevenson '02; and R. Wynne '02 and W. S. Mendel 2L. The line-up of the University team will be as follows: i.h., Porter; o.h., Ackerman; 1a., Smith; 2a., Wendell; 3a., Barlier; c., Prizer; 3d., Vance; 2d., Comey; 1d., Niles; c.p., White; p., Marsters; g., Thomas.
This game terminates the fall practice, which has been very successful, as over 30 men have been reporting regularly, including several of last year's University and Freshman teams. Some valuable material has also come in with the present Freshman class. Skill in stickwork has been developed under the coaching of D. P. Penhallow '03. A new plan for next spring is that of having a second team, which will have a schedule of its own.
