BASKETBALL WITH TUFTS

In Gymnasium.--University Game at 3.20.--Freshman Play Tufts Second at 3.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University basketball team will play its fifth game of the season with Tufts at 3.20 o'clock this afternoon in the Gymnasium.

Practice since the Princeton game last Saturday has shown little improvement. There has been a marked tendency to roughness, and a consequent failure to play together smoothly. The forwards do not follow up well, and the shooting is not as accurate as it has been. The Tufts team is the same as last year and should prove strong in team play. Judging from the score made by each team against Boston College, the University team has the better chance of winning today.

Admission to the game will be 50 cents, but season tickets at $2 will be on sale at the entrance.

Following is the line-up: HARVARD.  TUFTS. Quigley, l.f.  r.f., Riley Broun, r.f.  l.f., H. D. Wilson Amberg, c.  c., Getchell Burnham, l.g.  r.g., Twelley Griffiths, capt., r.g.,  l.g., E. P. Wilson

Freshmen vs. Tufts Second.

The Freshman basketball team will play its sixth game of the season with the Tufts second team at 3 o'clock. The first half will be played before the University game begins and the second in the period between the halves of the University game. As the University second team was able to defeat Tufts second only by two points it is probable that the Freshmen will lose this afternoon.

The Freshmen will line up as follows: l.f., Allen; r.f., Currie; c., Dial; l.g., Jones; r.g., White.
