NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Professor D. C. Lyon, Ph.D., who has been granted leave of absence for next year by the Corporation, will fill the position of director of the American School for Oriental Study and Research in Palestine during his year away. Since coming to the University in 1882, Professor Lyon has held a professorship in divinity, but his work has been exclusively relating to Semitic languages and history. He has been curator of the Semitic Museum since its foundation in 1890, and while travelling in Egypt and Palestine during the winter of 1901-02 he acquired many of the objects now in the Museum.
